Please pray for God to defend marriage through His people in Illinois. There are 7 days left to this legislative session. The supporters of counterfeit marriage are lobbying hard, including former President Bill Clinton and Pres. Obama. Pray that the Bride of Christ would be awakened to her duty, that we would repent before the Lord and seek His face-- then His hand--for mercy. Pray that God's people would take their positions and stand in this battle that belongs to the Lord.

Today some of the brethren will meet publicly to defend marriage in Illinois. We will gather to worship, to stand and proclaim God's Word, and to preach deliverance for the captives through our Lord Jesus Christ. The enemy is furious, counterprotestors are coming--including Occupy protestors--whose intent will be to disrupt and revile us. Please pray for Christ to be exalted and glorified, and that many Christians would be drawn to come in one mind. Pray that the Holy Spirit will fill us, lead us, give us wisdom, boldness, joy, forbearance and love, and to glorify His Bride, so that He might be glorified. Pray for Him to expose and overcome the darkness by the Light, to convict of sin, righteousness, and the judgement to come, and to cause many to come to repentance and faith, and so be saved. Pray also that Representative Silvana Tabares would hear the truth, and defend God's plan for marriage, that the enemy's plan to overthrow God's plan and people would be foiled and used for eternal good.

A friend of mine just confided in me that he was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer that happens to like one in 600 million for his age group. He also talked to me how he recently discovered KLOVE and he and his sisters listen to it all the time now. He told me that he feels uplifted and very positive and developing a closer relationship to God and motivated to beat this cancer. Tomorrow is the Washington, DC., March for Marriage in anticipation of the US Supreme Court hearing on two marriage-related cases. This weekend. an estimated 300,000 attended the pro-marriage march in France, where marriage is simliarly under attack. Please pray for God\'s grace, and the victory of light over darkness. Please pray for my husband Mike who suffers from severer depression. He has been out of work for five years. The depression continues to worsen. He is a believer but feels that God has abandoned him.
