I know the darkness of a childhood ripped apart by sexual abuse from my father. I know the sustaining grace of God during a decade of working through pain and moving towards forgiveness. I ask prayer now for my young adult children who are far from the Lord because their dad fell away from the Lord. He hurt them so much and my journey of grief often seems unending. I praise the Lord for His sweet fellowship CONTINUALLY. But I ask you to pray for my young adult kids...who have spiraled down because of so much unresolved pain from a dad who was a Christian but completely in the flesh - there's a wound that makes it near impossible for them to trust God the Father.
